These Terms govern your use of the Proverbly mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Proverbly. You may browse as a guest or create an account using email & password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Proverbly for your own personal, non-commercial study and devotional use, subject to these Terms.
Journal entries, notes, highlights and reflections you create (“Your Content”) belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content solely to operate the App for you (for example, to sync it to your devices). We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it to train third-party advertising or profiling systems.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to breach or circumvent security; (c) reverse engineer, resell or commercially exploit the App or its content; or (d) interfere with the operation of the service or other users.
The study guides, written commentary, design, name and logo of Proverbly are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Biblical text is drawn from public-domain or appropriately licensed translations. Except for Your Content, you may not copy, distribute or create derivative works from the App’s content without permission.
Proverbly provides devotional and educational content. It is not a substitute for professional pastoral, psychological, medical, legal or financial advice. Reflection prompts and commentary are for personal growth only; use your own judgment and seek qualified professionals where appropriate.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the content is complete or free of errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proverbly and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or where required to protect the service or other users.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notice in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Ireland will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
